Automation Project Engineer About the Position: We are looking for a proactive and visionary Automation Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at TMC. This role is ideal for a professional with strong leadership skills, capable of auditing complex processes , identifying strategic automation or semi-automation opportunities , and driving impactful solutions from concept to implementation. In This Position You Will: Lead process audits across manufacturing and operational environments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities. Act as a strategic advisor to clients, presenting tailored automation and semi-automation solutions that align with their business goals. Manage full project lifecycles—from opportunity identification and proposal development to execution and post-implementation review. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure successful project delivery. Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and technical documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to clients. Ensure all automation initiatives meet quality, safety, and compliance standards. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. What We Expect From You: You have a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field. You have 3–5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a strong background in process auditing , project leadership , and client engagement . You have a proven ability to identify and implement automation strategies that deliver measurable improvements. You are confident in leading discussions with clients and presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are familiar with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). You are highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. You speak English and Spanish fluently.
