This marks the start of something new, and we’re building on it every day. 2 – What You’ll Do About the Role We are looking for a Structural Engineer – Temporary Works to join our team in Toronto (Ontario). The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, review, and oversight of temporary structures required during all the Small Modular Reactor’s construction. Key responsibilities : Design and analyze temporary structures including scaffolding, bracing, supports, formwork systems, lifting frames, concrete structures and access platforms. Ensure all temporary works designs comply with applicable Canadian codes and standards. Coordinate with construction teams to develop feasible and safe temporary works solutions. Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, and detailed drawings for field implementation. Provide engineering support during installation and decommissioning of temporary works on site. Participate in on-site inspections, safety audits, and constructability reviews. Contribute to the development of risk assessments and safe work procedures. Maintain thorough documentation and change records in line with nuclear industry standards. 3 – Why Join Us? This is a springboard role , an opportunity to build your technical career in Canada while being part of something bigger. 4 – Who You Are Essential Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural design, with significant exposure to temporary works and steel structures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Nice to have Experience working on nuclear, industrial, or heavy infrastructure projects is an asset.
