Engineer II -Specialty Engineering / New Products

Hussmann Technologies de Baja California. Is a company that manufactures refrigerators from different international brands. We are looking for a professional, knowledgeable, detail-focused Product Engineer to join our team. The ideal person for this role will have a strong background in engineering, specifically in product design and creation. The goal of the position is to analyze potential products and develop effective designs until the product launch. Responsibilities Creation of support BOMs for design, production, service and new developments. Actively collaborate with related departments in the implementation of new developments, such as manufacturing, quality, purchasing, among others. Define design requirements for new and existing products in accordance with manufacturing, marketing, and customer expectations and requirements. Identification and analysis of design improvements to achieve improvements in cost and technical requirements with the use of internal and external resources. Formulate new and innovative approaches to solve technical problems consistently. Create and communicate plans, tasks, and deliverables, as well as time management to meet the project schedule. Selection of mechanical components based on the company's design specifications and standards. Requirements & Experience Bachelor's Degree or Engineering industrial, mechatronics, electromechanics. Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing process as, high volume assembly lines, materials, warehouse, logistics, production control, sheet metal and painting, manufacturing engineering, quality. Ability to draw in Solid Edge (or similar software) with the ability to create 3D parts and drawings, as well as edit them. Management of office packages: Excel, Word, Power point. Communication skills with the aim of understanding and transforming the specification information provided by the client according to the Hussmann language. Understanding of refrigeration systems, as well as basic knowledge of electrical and electronic components. Teamwork, personal responsibility and problem-solving skills. Advanced English. 1-3 years experience in introducing new Products.
