Job Description

Coordinate technical and human resources within the test group and standardize Engineering Test function within different business units by taking care of continuous development of their staff, system integrity of test strategies pursuing an excellent team performance to meet and exceed customers expectations. Responsibilities 1. Supervise the Test Engineering Group and bring direction as appropriate. 2. Monitor performance based on defined metrics area, FPY, False Rejects, Downtime. 3. Support improvement performance of existing test equipment and labor resources by analyzing trends and applying methods of solving problems. 4. Define and provide the necessary training to maximize performance of the Team. 5. Implementation and maintenance of general procedures of the Department. 6. Definition of labor resources needed for the different business units. 7. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives of different indicators of business performance assigned together with the different departments. 8. Participates in the Engineering Change Management, evaluates impact to Hardware and any Software Change required to determine course of action to all Test Related ECO/ECN Activities, need support and Escalation from Test Engineers. 9. Generates Capacity Analysis "CAP MODEL" to Test Gear in order to define additional equipment needs. 10. Maintain continually updated the Test Assets Inventory, Customer Property and Instruments, NEOTech Property and Instruments, Golden Samples, Diagnostics Tools and Instrumentation, Spare Parts, the Test Engineering Manager is responsible for the Full Life Cycle of the assigned Test Assets. 11. Make safety and ergonomics a priority for the department. 12. Assure the maintenance, calibration and Validation plans are meet within department, performs daily and weekly Test Assets inspection along with Test Engineers according to Standard Work in order to ensure Assets integrity, Calibration, Maintenance and 5s Practices are maintained. 13. Drive Process Feedback and Lead the Technical Diagnostics Strategy and Ensure Diagnostics WIP is mitigated close to absolute 0, improving the Quality and Effectiveness of the Diagnostics Personnel. Qualifications 1. Bilingual speaker, Spanish and English proficiency, able to lead interaction and discussions. 2. 8 years of experience developing methods and documentation that align to industry standards, such as ISO9000, IEC, IEEE. 3. Record of excellence implementing quality standards. 4. Experience coaching peers and subordinates in order to align operative objectives. 5. Excels in customer satisfaction, able to interact and make customers a priority, internal and external. 6. Manage to assess performance and receive feedback. 7. Able to drive cultural change and serve as a role model for teams. 8. Hands on oriented team player 9. Ability to work in a multi-customer environment 10. Strong technical motivation, eager to self-maintain technically updated. 11. Manage to assess performance in a timely manner
