Suntory Global Spirits also offers a positive and nice working environment Role Responsibilities Data Quality and Governance: Ensure the integrity and structure of the data warehouse and assets. Establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and classification frameworks. Define and govern data models to ensure alignment with best practices and establish reliable sources for critical datasets. Collaborate with IT for proper data synchronization and clear documentation of updates. Support the creation of a Data Glossary, Data Lineage, and Governance in partnership with the CoE & EIM team. Engage in resolving data quality and process issues affecting reporting accuracy. Conduct audits of models, visualizations, and documentation for compliance with standards. Analytics Project Delivery: Provide input during design workshops to align on deliverables and effort. Ensure timely delivery of analytics projects. Lead the team in planning and coordinating development activities. Act as the delivery team lead for ongoing projects, monitoring progress and aiding report builders. Manage delivery-level risks and escalate issues as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are sustainable and fit for purpose. Coaching and Mentoring: Lead and support report builders in their daily tasks and design discussions. Mentor the team to enhance skills in data modeling and visualization. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Innovation: Drive advancements in analytics capabilities for data modeling and visualization. Collaborate with IT to design innovative data architecture. Develop partnerships and establish a robust analytics community for knowledge sharing. Utilize a professional network to identify best practices and benchmark new capabilities. Qualifications Experience : 5-7 years in Analytics, including 3-5 years as a Senior Developer/BI Lead with experience in managing and coaching others; experience in Supply Chain is preferred. Education : Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or IT-related fields. Data Governance : Solid understanding of data governance and modeling best practices with hands-on implementation experience. Tools : Proficient with data warehousing/modeling tools like Datasphere (preferred) or Google Big Query, and visualization tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud. Project Leadership : Experience leading BI projects and Data Warehouse implementations in large IT environments with multiple platforms and data sources. Supply Chain Knowledge : Understanding of data from supply chain software like SAP IBP, SAP APO, and SAP ECC. Technical Skills : Proficient in SQL, with strong preference for experience in Python or R; exposure to automation tools (RPA) is preferred. Agile Methodologies : Experience in Agile (certifications preferred), with a track record of leading scrums and supporting delivery teams. Project Management : Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and code/documentation management using GitHub. Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels. Team Management : Experienced in people management with a focus on team goals over individual accomplishments. Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Collaboration : Proven ability to collaborate effectively with globally dispersed cross-functional teams, along with strong business acumen and understanding of organizational challenges.
