Job Description

The Project Manager / Kanban will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects from inception through completion. This role requires a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of Kanban principles to ensure timely and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope. Responsibilities Utilize Kanban methodologies to manage workflows, optimize processes, and track project progress. Allocate resources effectively across projects, balancing workload and priorities based on project requirements and organizational goals. Implement and manage Kanban boards to track project tasks, streamline workflows, and improve visibility of project progress. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets Optimize resource utilization and capacity planning to maximize efficiency and productivity. Lead the project planning process, defining scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Establish and communicate clear expectations regarding project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company and client objectives. Coordinate resources, both internal teams and external contractors, to execute projects on time and within budget. Identify potential risks and issues proactively, developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and budgets. Monitor project progress, track milestones, identify potential risks and issues, and communicate updates regularly to stakeholders. Lead a multidisciplinary project team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to achieve project goals and professional growth. Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in Engineering / Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations and working with cross-functional teams to identify and execute on priority actions. Able to work in ERP and XL tools to extract and compare date in an effective and efficient way. Ability to deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations by creating visual summaries of quantitative cost information. Build and continually improve dashboards to provide insight. Must have demonstrable skills with Microsoft office applications, particularly Excel. Smartsheet and Power BI experience Experience in a global, multi-cultural environment, & comfortable working autonomously. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience (8- 10 years) in project management preferred within the HVAC industry, with a focus on data center cooling solutions. Demonstrated success in managing large, complex projects with cross-functional teams. Expertise in Kanban methodology and Agile practices. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion. P The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols. The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer. Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
