Role: Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python (backend) and React (frontend) to support data ingestion, transformation, and visualization pipelines critical to quant research and trading strategies. Collaborate closely with data scientists, quantitative researchers, and engineers to implement tools for data exploration, backtesting, and signal analysis, ensuring seamless integration between research and production environments. Optimize system performance and reliability by building efficient APIs, managing databases, and handling large-scale data workflows with a focus on robustness, security, and latency. Contribute to architectural decisions and codebase quality by writing clean, modular code, participating in code reviews, and advocating for best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and documentation. Skills/Experience: Degree in Computer Science or STEM based subjects from a top university. 4 years experience as a Full Stack Python/React Developer (or similar). Experience with FastAPI is preferable. Proficiency in modern software development practices, including version control and agile development methodologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and information sharing.
