Job Description

Computer Vision Engineer – Brussels, Belgium (Freelance) Context My client based in Brussels, is looking to expand its innovation team with a Computer Vision Engineer. You’ll be part of our dynamic team, responsible for researching, designing, and implementing state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms that power intelligent traffic and urban monitoring systems. Key Responsibilities Research and develop novel computer vision models tailored to smart mobility. Implement and optimize algorithms for object detection, tracking, classification, segmentation, and anomaly detection. Design real-time vision pipelines for deployment on edge devices Evaluate and benchmark existing and new AI models for performance, scalability, and robustness. Collaborate with product teams to integrate vision capabilities into our client’s intelligence solutions. Stay updated with the latest advances in vision transformers, multimodal learning, and generative AI applications. Participate in AI-driven innovation projects, prototypes, and proofs of concept. Key Experience Strong experience with Python and deep learning frameworks Solid understanding of computer vision fundamentals (feature extraction, optical flow, CNNs, 3D reconstruction). Experience deploying vision models on embedded systems is a plus. Familiarity with C++ and GStreamer is a bonus.
