Safety & Health Specialist

Your Role The Safety & Health Expert works within the Quality, Safety, Health & Environment (QSHE) Function. QSHE is the unit committed to quality, health, safety, and environment. The role involves ensuring daily operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies to prevent harm to people, the environment, and communities. The expert is part of the QSHE Department, responsible for implementing and managing safety standards, monitoring adherence, training employees, and evaluating risks. The position requires advice and administrative support related to Health & Safety, in accordance with the company’s nominated role as “Addetto Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione Aziendale” (ASPP) and tasks under Italian Law Decree 81/2008. A certificate as ASPP or RSPP is mandatory. Your Responsibilities Implement and coordinate safety strategies and standards, including ISO 45001 and compliance with Law Decree 231/01. Handle safety reporting and monitor KPIs monthly in collaboration with national managers. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety policies are followed. Manage safety and health risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards. Develop and improve QSHE processes, CAPA, and training materials. Ensure compliance with Italian Legislative Decree n.81/2008 through additional safety checks. Issue safety instructions and organize safety training sessions annually. Your Skills and Experiences Qualified safety & health trainer according to art. 37 81/08. Preferred qualification as safety & health working equipment trainer per art. 73 81/08.
