Job Description We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Junior Devops Engineer to join our team supporting the development of cutting-edge Private 5G solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and automation and ready to grow their skills. You'll have the chance to receive hands-on training and mentorship from senior developers to help you become proficient and confident in your role. You will be incorporated in the Devops team that acts as an interface between the development, system testing, and IT teams. This Entails a Two Fold Commitment Design, manage, and improve CI/CD pipelines that automate the software release process and enhance the software artifacts quality (e.g.: by means of automated tests); Collaborate to the design, maintenance, and improvement of the software services supporting the Business Unit ecosystem. Responsibilities Collaborate with senior developers to build and set up development tools, testing, and infrastructure. Keep improving and propose evolution of CI/CD tools. Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes. Monitor the processes during the entire lifecycle. Update or create new processes for improvement and minimizing wastage. Work with IT department to ensure all proper infrastructure is in place and systems are secure against cybersecurity threats. Work with software developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended. Qualifications Typically 1-2 years of experience. Native in Italian and fluent in English. Experience with version control systems (e.g.: Gitlab). Experience with gitlab-ci or github actions. Basic Linux background. Bash, Python 3, Docker. Optional (would be a plus to have some of these): Experience with Jira, Jenkins, GoLang, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, AWS EC2, GCP, VMware vSphere automation. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail. Awareness of devOps and Agile principles. Proactivity. Additional Skills Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, Solutions Design, Testing & Automation, User Experience (UX).
