Buying and Procurement Specialist

Partner with the best In this role, you will manage the buying process for a set of goods, applying sourcing policies, and interfacing between suppliers and the company regarding specifications and budgets. As a Buying and Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities include : Placing and following up on POs for suppliers, managing relationships and resolving issues. Updating Promise dates, prioritizing demands, and managing logistics and documentation processes. Using internal tools like ValvStore for procurement activities. Managing invoice reconciliations and resolving related issues. Identifying and suggesting improvements in procurement approaches and processes. Communicating with colleagues and the business about data and analysis. Supporting decision-making with business relevance and cross-functional insights. Communicating complex concepts to senior leadership and coaching team members. Completing work within 1-3 months, with results visible within 1-2 months. Resolving materials issues while maintaining inventory metrics. To succeed, you should have : A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sourcing. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently with problem-solving and negotiation skills. Experience with SAP P31. Skills in planning, marketing, and executing programs. Fluency in Italian, French, and English (oral and written). Eligibility to work in the EU.
