Job Opportunity: Cyber-security Specialist in Wind Energy Sector Do you have experience in Cyber-security? Would you like to be part of an international company in the wind energy sector? MED SCADA & Cyber Security Sales Solutions, in MED Power Plant Solutions Department, is responsible for value engineering, contractual risk management, and product management on SCADA & Cyber Security solutions in Vestas power plants throughout the Sales and Service stages of the project lifecycle in the Mediterranean Region, including South and Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The team provides advanced technology and services in Monitoring, Control, Data acquisition systems, and Cyber Security for Wind Technology. Responsibilities Identify and interpret Wind Power Plants related Cyber Security requirements and communicate proactively with relevant customers and Regulatory Authorities in the Mediterranean area. Contribute market requirements for Cyber Security to R&D for product and service development, ensuring compliance and competitiveness. Serve as the regional contact point for Cyber Security matters and represent the region in the Vestas Cyber Security Community. Ensure alignment with Cyber Security best practices within the region. Train teams and customers on new Vestas Cyber Security products and services. Participate in team selling, building value in projects, and guiding customers to standards compliance. Review customer tender specifications for Cyber Security and manage technical risks. Prepare technical contractual specifications during bid stages. Engage in technical meetings with customers and support operations with Cyber Security queries. Qualifications M.Sc./B.Sc. in Telecommunication, Information Security, Electronic, Automation Engineering, or related fields. Over 5 years of experience in cyber security roles focusing on document review and compliance assessments. Knowledge of frameworks like IEC62443, CISA CSF 2.0, ENISA NIS 2, ISO 27001. Pre-Sales Cyber Security experience is advantageous. Understanding of network security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, malware detection, and access management. Certifications like CISSP or CISM are beneficial. Knowledge of ICT requirements in Wind Power Plants is a plus. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Competencies Strong analytical skills for document analysis and compliance assessment. Effective communication and presentation abilities. Confidence in engaging with external stakeholders. Ability to simplify technical topics for non-technical audiences. Creative problem-solving skills and motivation to meet customer needs.
