You contribute to the entire product lifecycle, including requirements, firmware development (in C), tools (certification, ATE), testing (C and Python), and maintenance (investigating and solving field issues). You may manage junior colleagues' work and collaborate closely with other teams to improve existing solutions. Your profile: Organized, structured, rigorous, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are eager to document your work, share information, and work on interdisciplinary topics to find innovative solutions. A self-reliant team player with a successful track record, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage others. Extensive experience (10 years) in software development, especially in C for embedded microcontrollers Deep understanding of RTOS and real-time troubleshooting Proficiency in low-level drivers and higher-level logic in resource-constrained environments Experience with code reviews, unit, and system testing Ability to read schematics in analog and digital domains Experience with lab instrumentation for debugging and validation Ability to handle concurrent tasks Nice to have: background in IoT, Wi-Fi, BLE, ISM RF, EMC implications, PLC Experience in people and project management is advantageous Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus Valid work permit for Italy or EU nationality tiko Italia is a vibrant tech hub in Milan, developing in-house solutions to help customers save energy with existing electrical devices, contributing to the Virtual Power Plant for grid stabilization.
