The company Our client is seeking an experienced professional to strengthen its Mexico market presence and drive the company's growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development, particularly in the EPC sector and public sector projects, with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects and teams. Experience in pipe sales—specifically in ductile iron, steel, fiberglass, HDPE, and/or PVC—is highly desirable. This position will play a critical role in shaping and executing growth strategy, with the expectation of helping to double the business in Mexico. The successful candidate must demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities and a proven ability to build, inspire, and manage high-performing sales teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute the business development strategy in Mexico, focusing on expanding the customer base, particularly among EPC companies and public sector entities involved in water treatment, infrastructure, and hydropower projects. Drive sales growth and expand market share by building relationships with key stakeholders, including large EPCs, municipalities, engineering firms, and other public/private project sponsors. Oversee and optimize operations in Mexico, ensuring smooth collaboration between sales, logistics, production, and after-sales services. Ensure that the sales team is effectively executing the growth strategy while maintaining operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Work closely with local teams and the senior leadership to improve sales performance, operational workflows, and project delivery timelines. Develop and mentor a high-performing sales and operations team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key industry players and decision-makers within the infrastructure and water treatment sectors. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and potential opportunities to identify areas for expansion and operational improvements. Requirements: At least 10–15 years of experience in business development, sales, and operations within the infrastructure, EPC, or public sector industries, with a focus on water treatment, wastewater, and hydropower projects. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive results across commercial and operational areas. In-depth understanding of the EPC market, large-scale infrastructure projects, and public sector procurement processes in Mexico. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with a focus on long-term partnerships. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
