Job specific requirements: Grade 12 Certification: Red Seal - Auto Electrician Experience: 3-5 years in an underground mining environment, with specific experience in auto electrical systems on Sandvik, GHH, AARD machines Physical Fitness: Must be fit to obtain a medical certificate of fitness and declared fit to work on a mine. Skills: Competent in auto electrical systems, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, ensuring safe and effective operations in a mining environment. Competent B certificate Underground Hard rock operations Medical Certificate of Fitness to work Underground Good communication skills Clean Criminal record Responsibilities : Participate in maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adherence to safety standards. Maintain and repair electrical systems of mining machinery, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. Perform diagnostic tests to identify and resolve electrical issues. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment. Adhere to maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks. Work collaboratively with other team members and provide support when needed. Able to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure A teamwork mentality to achieve results Effective listener with well-developed interpersonal skills
