Operations Accountant - Manufacturing

Hire Resolve's Client is seeking for an Operations Accountant within the Supply Chain division , based in Paarl. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about improving systems and driving operational efficiency. The position reports to the Business Support Manager and is responsible for overseeing financial and administrative functions within the division. This includes providing timely and accurate reporting, decision support to management, and enhancing internal controls. Key Responsibilities: Financial Growth and Performance Analyse and report financial results against targets Prepare and compile monthly performance reports Coordinate annual budgets for branches and capital projects Conduct financial feasibility studies and cost analyses Provide strategic support to management and various stakeholders Operational Optimisation Implement and maintain internal controls across branches Provide guidance on systems and applications Support and manage the annual external audit process Ensure accurate stock counts and variance reporting Drive the collection and analysis of business data Perform various administrative and ad hoc tasks People and Culture Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders Manage workload and priorities to ensure efficiency Digital and Process Innovation Support, train, and upskill branch staff on financial systems, policies, and procedures Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and legal requirements Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives Monitor and evaluate internal control effectiveness both remotely and on-site Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance (BCom or CIMA) At least 4 years of relevant experience Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Own transport is essential Key Attributes Required: Ability to manage complexity Strong, pragmatic decision-making skills Self-awareness and emotional intelligence Results-driven and proactive Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
