Assistant Superintendent – 4–6 Storey Multifamily Construction Location: Calgary, Alberta Industry: Construction – Mid-Rise Multifamily Employment Type: Full-Time Our client, a reputable and growing developer-builder in Calgary, is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support the delivery of high-quality, wood-frame multifamily residential projects ranging from 4 to 6 storeys. Position Overview The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Site Superintendent to manage day-to-day site operations. This role involves coordinating trades, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring that project milestones are met on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing all on-site construction activities Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries Monitor and enforce site safety in compliance with OH&S regulations Track project progress and report on schedule adherence Support quality assurance and ensure work aligns with project specifications Promote a positive and efficient work environment on site Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a site-based construction role, preferably in wood-frame multifamily projects Strong knowledge of mid-rise construction processes and sequencing Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Valid safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS) are considered an asset Why This Opportunity?
