Architectural Project Manager

Our client, an architecture powerhouse, and a large multi-discipline firm is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team in Edmonton working with their residential studio. With decades of experience in the industry & multiple award recognitions for sustainability, design, planning & development this is a special opportunity to make an impact on the built environment. *hybrid opportunity Key Responsibilities: Lead project planning and execution across all disciplines, developing detailed work plans, allocating resources, and tracking progress. Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations. Oversee the development and coordination of construction documentation, including drawings and specifications. Maintain strong client relationships, proactively addressing concerns and facilitating clear communication among stakeholders. Collaborate with contractors, sub-consultants, and authorities to resolve constructability issues and ensure compliance with building codes and permit requirements. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Architecture or Technical program. 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in multifamily construction. Solid understanding project accounting, strategic development, business development, project management and client management. Familiarity with architectural and engineering systems design, including M&E and structural systems Proficiency in Procore or comparable construction management platforms, with the ability to oversee project documentation, scheduling, and team collaboration tools effectively. The successful candidate will receive a compensation package of $90-105K (dependent on experience) bonus, RRSP and 3 weeks’ vacation the week off over Christmas.
