The job profile As Group CFO, you play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth of this international buy-and-build platform. Together with the Group CEO, you lead the M&A agenda, manage integrations, and work on realizing synergies across the group. You are responsible for setting up a scalable, future-proof finance structure that supports continued expansion. This is a broad and impactful role within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment, touching on strategy, operations, and finance. Your main objectives are to act as a strategic business partner within the Board and co-lead the international M&A strategy, build and lead a strong, agile group finance function, and maintain strong relationships with the CEO, shareholder, leadership teams, and external stakeholders. You are also responsible for managing the group’s financing structure, including solvency, liquidity, covenant monitoring, and refinancing efforts. In this role, you will establish and oversee group-wide financial processes such as reporting, consolidation, planning, and tooling. You contribute actively to business reviews and help shape the group’s long-term strategic plans. You lead integration and synergy efforts following acquisitions and capitalize on growth opportunities across the expanded international footprint. Additionally, you guide the transition to IFRS, optimize working capital and cash flow management, and ensure robust treasury and tax structures. A future-proof IT and reporting landscape—including BI tools, consolidation software, and eventually group-wide ERP—is also part of your scope. The ideal candidate You are an inspirational and empathetic personality facilitating growth while enhancing financial stewardship, transparency, compliance and performance. As the new Group CFO you must be able to switch from strategy and the "big picture" to the details seamlessly, and have a pragmatic and action oriented approach. Criteria You have completed a Master’s degree in Finance including a post-graduation CPA/RA/RC/CMA degree 15 years’ experience in an international environment and recent experience as a CFO under PE Knowledge of the (IT) services, software and/or tech industry is a plus, experience with similar business models is a must Experience in M&A processes and integration (PMI). You have experience and affinity with further professionalizing financial / operational processes and to embed a strong control, insights and compliance structure Experience with the implementation or optimalisation of ERP/Reporting/BI software and IFRS implementation is a plus You are familiar with Dutch (financial/fiscal/statutory) processes and live in The Netherlands Preferably fluent in Dutch. Fluent in English and an additional language is a plus Willingness to travel on occasion Willingness to co-invest alongside IceLake Capital Personality You have the ability to build, lead and motivate a diverse and international team You are analytically and conceptually strong and capable of quickly providing oversight and structure in complex situations.
