Senior Financial Controller

Our client is focused within the engineering industry and is looking for a Senior Controller to join their team. The Company has been operating as a leader in it’s field for over 50 Years, they work with the most cutting technology in the engineering sector and are seen as a pioneer in their space. They place a huge importance on Employee Development and Training as well as initiatives to drive Wellbeing and Culture. THE ROLE: Responsible for group liquidity management Implementation of short-term money market transactions and financing projects Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Participation in budget and medium-term planning Creation and development of KPI reports Participation in digitalisation projects – including the implementation of BI systems but supporting the migration to SAP S/4HANA and driving development of SAP Analytics Cloud Analysis, evaluation and reporting Creation and development of decision-making documents and business cases REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Business Administration with a focus on controlling and finance, or equivalent qualifications Experience in investment controlling and desirable skills in financing, liquidity forecasting, and business case modelling Strong IT affinity, particularly in SAP, Excel, and BI systems - Ideally, several years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in larger organizations or in the non-profit sector German language skills of at least at C1 level and are complemented by good English skills and strong communication skills Analytical thinking, a strong willingness to learn, persuasiveness, assertiveness, and structured problem-solving skills round out your profile
