Clerk of Works (Building) Venn Group is working with a growing NHS Trust to recruit a Clerk of Works to effectively support major projects across their sites Salary: £51,500 Duration: 18 months Hours: Monday to Friday Location: London The successful candidate will: Ensure that construction projects are thoroughly inspected to meet specific standards, quality and safety requirements Conduct regular site inspections on projects at varying stages, identifying defects Maintain accurate reports, provide detailed reports on issues and provide analysis on what corrective actions are required Communicate issues to stakeholders and advise on quality standards to be met Liaise between project teams, external contractor / consultants and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery Inspect completed works, snag lists, and ensure that any outstanding issues are rectified before final project sign-off and handover The successful candidate will have: Knowledge of HTMs and HBNs Relevant qualification in construction, building engineering, or related disciplines (e.g., HNC/HND in Construction) Previous experience with construction projects NHS or healthcare experience
