Conveyancing Locum

Are you a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor looking for locum/temp work? We have an opportunity for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a firm in Stafford ASAP on an ongoing locum basis for around 4-6 months. Key Responsibilities: Handle all types of residential property transactions (sales, purchases, leaseholds, new builds, remortgages, shared ownership, and transfers of equity) from start to finish. Keep clients updated, answer their questions, and guide them through the process clearly and professionally. Review contracts, title documents, searches, mortgage offers, and other paperwork to make sure everything is in order. Prepare contracts, transfer forms, and reports for clients and other parties involved. Make sure all work follows legal rules, firm policies, and CQS standards. Keep accurate and up-to-date records. Work confidently with digital systems and electronic files (ideally familiar with LEAP or similar). Requirements: Able to manage a broad range of residential property matters independently - including sales, purchases, leaseholds, new builds, shared ownership, and equity transfers - from instruction through to completion.
