About the Role We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding team. As an Electrical Engineer you will be required to undertake an Electrical design role on high pressure pipeline and plant systems, working to high engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by our clients. You will be enthusiastic and conscientious about the work you produce, leading by example with good attention to detail. You will have the ability to learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also have awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities. Responsibilities Undertake an Electrical design role on high pressure pipeline and plant systems Work to high engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by clients Produce work with good attention to detail Learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commit to health, safety and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities Qualifications Gained an Electrical Engineering degree Registered with an appropriate institution Working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status Required Skills Experience working within utility, pipeline or related industries Good working knowledge of the applicable design codes including BS7671 - electrical wiring regulations and British Standards Preferred Skills C&G2396 electrical design qualification Knowledge / experience of the following: AMTECH Autocad 2D ATEX / DSEAR Compliance Formal Process Safety Assessments i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, HAZCON, SWDS Safety Integrity (BS EN 61508 / BS EN 61511) Knowledge of instrumentation systems would be an advantage Company Benefits 25 days’ holiday ( bank holidays), increasing with length of service Performance bonus Pension Opportunities for professional development including training opportunities Support for chartership goals if required Private healthcare for you and your immediate family Life insurance Gym membership Cycle to work scheme Early Friday finish Regular company socials Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
