Corporate Counsel - Employment & Compliance Location - London Your Responsibilities: Provide legal counsel, support, and training on complex legal and business questions with a strong focus on employment and compliance topics. Assisting the HR team with conflict resolution and mediation Representing the company in employment court cases Monitoring and identifying changes in employment laws as well as generally non-compliance issues, researching implications and suggesting available courses of action and resolution. Design and deliver training to employees and management. Interacting with business teams and advising on contracts with a focus on regulatory and governance topics. Enhance and expand legal and compliance processes, tools, and templates. Working closely with HR and management teams for consistent enforcement of policies. Role Demands: Completed law degree with a focus on employment law in a European jurisdiction Several years of professional experience in employment law, ideally in a legal firm or corporate legal department. Ability to anticipate and avert downstream legal risk. Exceptional analytical skills; IT industry specific expertise. Strong business and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task with HR, Finance and business teams. Should possess effective drafting and communication skills. Excellent written and spoken English language skills. Additional languages will be a plus. The ability to effectively work with internal clients/external customers is critical. The candidate should have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and supervise. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
