Senior Cost Manager – Mission Critical Facilities Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days office/site, 2 days remote) Full-time | Permanent Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience) Are you a commercially driven project leader with a passion for delivering complex, high-profile engineering and construction projects? We’re looking for a Senior Cost Manager to join our growing Mission Critical team in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data centre projects across Europe, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping project delivery, managing commercial performance, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead the commercial aspects of complex, high-value projects from bid stage through to completion. Ensure delivery to agreed scope, budget, and timeline while proactively managing risks. Track and report on financial KPIs, implementing strategies to optimise performance. Review, negotiate, and manage bespoke client and supplier contracts. Oversee international supply chain procurement and compliance. Manage stakeholder relationships and lead conflict resolution where needed. Support business development and client engagement activities. Mentor and develop junior team members. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management and commercial governance systems. What We’re Looking For: Strong educational background in engineering, business, or a related field. Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure or construction projects. Solid understanding of financial metrics, contractual terms, and commercial risk. Proficiency in ERP systems and project management tools. Experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software is a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
