Our client, an award-winning global contract manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Engineer to help uphold their reputation for excellence, innovation, and sustainability. The Role: Quality Engineer As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be a central resource for quality initiatives, working across manufacturing, production, and customer service teams. Your work will help reduce nonconformance, drive process improvement, and ensure products exceed expectations. This position is based in Elbridge, NY, with occasional travel to other locations as needed. What You’ll Do: Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives Review and resolve non-conforming product issues Develop qualification protocols and control plans Ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO, etc.) Support process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), including software validation Work with Quality Technicians and Auditors to define procedures and standards Prepare technical reports for both internal and external use Act as the point of contact for key customer quality discussions Support site visits and audits in the Northeast region Preferred Experience: ISO 13485, FDA, GMP, or USDA experience Familiarity with metrology tools and measurement processes Background in molding, automation, or medical device manufacturing Knowledge of Six Sigma tools (certification a plus) Experience with validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ, software validation) Strong technical writing skills That Said… If you don’t check every box but have a degree in Chemistry and a strong interest in quality systems, we’re still interested!
