Position Summary: Associate Engineer II - Tester Responsibilities & Accountabilities: The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating stable applications. You will be responsible for running functional testing, non-regression testing automating these as much as possible. In this role you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers analysts) to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. You will be integrated into a distributed IT development team located in India. This role will help you to understand both the business and the systems and is a gateway to progress in the direction of becoming an analyst / developer. Functional relations: Apart from the relation with the superior, the main stakeholders of this position will be other IT people from different DIT SC Teams and IT teams in the local cluster. Activities: Execute on request tests plans prepared by the analysts Determine if the behavior of the systems fulfills the test requirement Gain extensive knowledge on the functionality and the expected behavior of the IT systems, allowing you to understand and if necessary, question the described test cases Explain the bugs discovered during the testing and instruct in Azure DevOps the different bug description, conditions of discovering, in order to enable the DEV-team to solve them Suggest improvements / extensions of the test plans based on their execution, in a spirit of continuous improvement. Automate testcase (or start as manual tester in growth into this) Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in existing applications and processes, suggesting and supporting enhancements. Minimum skills: Experience in testing procedures Manual & Automation testing (Heavy in Automation) Must have Automation tool experience. Selenium is high preferred over any other Automation tool. Must have experience in executing Test cases in UI, API & Backend Experience with Azure DevOps Knowledge of Agile Method applied in the teams Strong analytical skills and business-oriented mindset Good knowledge and experience in CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. Hands-on experience with database systems. Basic understanding of multi component applications Experience in testing automatized tools (Selenium) Advanced level of English (writing speaking) Preferred skills: Supply chain knowledge Experienced in performance and tuning. Experienced in XML and REST web services Experience working with messaging systems (ASB, mainly). Experience working with Entity Framework, LINQ.
