Position Summary: Team Lead - Oracle Transport Management General objective: Lead an existing SCRUM team in charge of the implementation and maintenance of the core components for transportation management at ArcelorMittal. Responsibilities & Accountabilities: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced team lead / senior expert on Oracle Transportation Management to lead a team of functional/technical analysts for our supply chain applications dedicated to transportation management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both Supply Chain and IT, creating reliable and efficient applications and managing/mentoring a team. You will collaborate closely with other application owners, product architects, and technical leads to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. Functional relations: Apart from the relation with the superior, the main stakeholders of this position will be the Product Owners of the solution, other IT people from different DIT SC Teams and IT teams in the local cluster. Activities: Leading SCRUM team of functional/technical analysts. Actively participate/lead/organize agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing accurate time estimates for tasks. Take ownership of the application maintenance and evolution (Incident, Service Request and Change Management) accordingly with the directives of Domain/Product owners. Communicates pro-actively concerning risks, improvements, to the identified stakeholders. Provide guidance and mentorship to all team members, offering best practices, architectural advice, and knowledge-sharing. Assist with program rollout activities, including business unit and trading partner on-boarding, project coordination, status reporting and communication to program management. Ensure the solution is robust, reliable and performant and address the performance bottlenecks and bugs. Facilitate and implement best practices and innovative solutions. Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into Oracle OTM solutions. Responsible for writing the technical specifications or new technical user stories with focus on Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). Design, configure, and customize Oracle OTM modules. Coordinate and execute unit testing. Support and participate to system integration and user acceptance tests. Collaborate with other project teams to implement and integrate Oracle OTM with other enterprise systems. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and user guides. Provide training and support to end-users on Oracle OTM functionalities. Identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into Idea labs. Your skills: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Experience with the maintenance of a large scale project, actively taking part in it and managing the team handling it. Strong understanding of transportation management processes and logistics operations across multiple modes (LTL, FTL, Rail, Ocean, Air). Minimum of 8-10 years of experience working with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) in a consulting or implementation role, with 5 implementations in complex environments. Proven experience in OTM configurations, automation agents , business rules, screen set management, as well as in BI Publisher , XML, XSL, Web Services , and Rest API. VBA scripting (excel macro) is a plus. Knowledge of integration with other systems and processes (i.e: logistics, procurement, master data, etc). Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Ability to mentor and develop junior colleagues. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. Results-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Strong knowledge of project management techniques (Agile and Waterfall). Experienced with architectural concepts like event driven design, DDD, TDD and microservices . Advanced level of English (writing speaking). Works effectively in a global highly matrixed team environment. Relevant certifications in Oracle OTM or related technologies are a plus.
