Job Description

Alectris is an international service provider for renewable assets, focusing mainly on the European market. With offices in Thessaloniki, Athens, Milan, and South Italy, we manage activities across various countries in Europe and beyond. Our core focus is on operations and maintenance of renewable assets, complemented by engineering services and EPC mainly for photovoltaic plants, as well as wind farms on a smaller scale. Alectris is also active globally in the software sector with our proprietary ACTIS solar ERP for renewable assets. Job Description The Business Development Manager will identify, prospect, and sell our products and services to clients in Italy. They will contribute to preparing and executing marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with the CEO and team. They will work closely with the O&M and Projects divisions and the rest of the Business Development team to participate in tenders, prepare offers, nurture leads from web inquiries and networks, and attend various industry events. Periodic attendance at trade shows and events across Europe will be required to promote our offerings. Responsibilities Develop growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction Research new markets and customer needs Prepare and negotiate sales contracts Prospect actively via cold calling and social selling Respond to web-generated leads, nurturing them to closure Maintain relationships with existing and new clients for cross-selling and feedback gathering Conduct market analysis and monitor competitors Keep detailed records of sales activities using the company's CRM Prepare responses to RFIs, RFPs, and tenders Engage in customer interactions including calls, meetings, needs analysis, proposals, presentations, and negotiations Manage contracts, invoicing, and order processing Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns and industry materials Participate in trade shows and conferences Report regularly to the CEO Qualifications Excellent industry knowledge and English proficiency Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3-4 years of relevant industry experience in business development Extensive experience with solar and renewable markets Understanding of sales techniques and marketing principles Training in sales and marketing is advantageous Motivated, initiative-taking, structured approach to research and targeting Experience with CRM systems preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills High integrity and time management skills Ability to set and pursue long and short-term goals Willingness to travel domestically for trade shows and client meetings J-18808-Ljbffr
