All about the role: We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Engineer passionate about testing activities and electronic equipment to be used on a daily basis in the Compressor & Components Lab based in Susegana TV Italy. Compressor & Components Lab is responsible for selecting, testing, and qualifying main components for household appliances, in cooperation with global suppliers. The candidate will work in an international team, with strong connections to departments like Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and R&D with a global perspective. What you’ll do: Assist and lead testing activities according to internal procedures and international standards on compressors/components in areas like: Electromechanical Measurements Flammability Reliability and Environmental Stress Thermodynamics Noise and Vibration Issue reports and manage testing documentation Ensure proper storage and management of tested samples Participate actively in the compressors/components approval process Propose and implement new testing methods to improve Lab efficiency Maintain continuous supply of lab consumables Prepare simple cooling system circuits using manual welding stations Design and realize simple testing set-ups with data automation and control Who you are: Technical background Basic knowledge of instruments like voltmeters, oscilloscopes, thermocouples, sensors Basic knowledge of data acquisition software (e.g., LabVIEW) or development environments like Arduino is a plus Previous experience in a similar role is appreciated Where you’ll be: You will be based at Electrolux main Food Preservation site in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour from Venice, involved in Industry 4.0 investments. You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams to create the refrigeration solutions of the future.
