About the job The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer contributes to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. This role involves designing, implementing, and collaborating with teams to enhance the toolkit. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial. Responsibilities Innovative Solutions: Contribute to groundbreaking projects using agile and innovative technologies. Scalability: Ensure backend responsiveness and real-time performance to support growth. Security: Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data. Experience in building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi and blockchain applications is required. Familiarity with modular architecture for scalable applications, complex platform development, and APIs is necessary. Quick Learner : Ability to adapt and learn new technologies rapidly. Security Awareness : Strong understanding of security best practices. Nice to have High-Availability Concepts: Experience ensuring system reliability. Additional Skills: Knowledge of Go, Rust, or C++ is advantageous. Message Queues: Experience with Redis, caches, and job queues.
