The purpose of this position is to manage large and complex IT projects, ensuring adherence to IT methodologies and templates, and being responsible for both technical and economic project outcomes. The candidate should have a solid understanding of business processes related to Supply Chain Extended (Logistics, Distribution, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, and Sustainability), and liaise effectively with both IT and business teams to track and follow project progress. The role includes managing all IT systems related to a specific business area or function. IT Managers may also analyze and implement ERP modules and applications related to their business area, managing and coordinating functional teams. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze high-level business requirements to define project scope and business cases. Coordinate with the business project manager to ensure alignment of business processes with IT solutions. Ensure the coherence of IT projects and solutions within the overall IT architecture, covering both application and technical aspects. Understand business processes and communicate this knowledge to development and functional teams. Provide guidance to development teams during solution development to meet business needs. Document project states of work and update the Steering Committee on project progress. Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams. Manage IT teams, ensuring good team morale and effective communication. Conduct interviews, analyze documents, facilitate workshops, surveys, and site visits to gather requirements. Translate business process management and requirements into specific software specifications. Evaluate and synthesize data from multiple sources, resolving conflicts and identifying actual versus user needs. Research functional needs thoroughly and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Deepen understanding of existing systems and implement performance improvements. Ensure adoption and compliance with recommended solutions. Understand technical designs and specifications. Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding UI, screens, and interfaces. Manage change requests and project plans to meet deadlines. Oversee IT application advisory, specialization, and analysis management. Define project roadmaps with business, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. Deliver and document IT projects, manage project budgets and portfolios. Provide executive summaries of IT responsibilities and audit documentation. Job Requirements Master’s degree in economics or engineering. Extensive experience in IT applications related to specific business functions: Supply Chain Extended (Logistics, Distribution, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Sustainability). At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar role within a complex multinational environment. Strong understanding of business processes. Self-motivated and independent work capability. Proactive approach. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Leadership skills. Planning and follow-up abilities to deliver results. Ability to manage complexity and work under pressure.
