Job Description Barilla G. & R. Fratelli is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Manager for the Novara Plant and Galliate Mill. The individual will report to the Novara Plant Director and functionally to the Human Resources Director of Operations and Industrial Relations Italy. Job Purpose The person, to support plant results achievement and improvement, will assist in the proper management and development of plant personnel, ensuring compliance with legislation, company processes, and union agreements that modify conditions set by national contracts. In collaboration with the Corporate HR team, they will help implement all HR processes aligned with Group policies and programs. Key Accountabilities Participate in developing Barilla’s budget by working with F&A management and each department’s HR to define resource needs, evaluate labor costs, and set budgets for recruitment, training, and development activities. Analyze gaps between expected and actual variables, following established procedures. Ensure effective attraction, selection, and employment of new personnel, both white-collar and blue-collar, aligning workforce plans with plant needs and profiles, within the allocated budget. Oversee technical and managerial training for plant personnel, collaborating with the local Knowledge Management team, identifying participants, facilitating initiatives, and collecting feedback on efficacy and usefulness. Manage the Performance Management process by preparing meetings with union representatives, monitoring implementation, supporting plant managers and shift supervisors in conducting interviews, and making necessary adjustments per central HR guidelines. Ensure proper implementation of specific company processes involving the plants. Handle procedures related to plant workers and local labor law litigations. Coordinate with F&A management to ensure proper payroll, personnel management, and privacy procedures, in compliance with social security, fiscal, and contractual regulations. Contribute to developing local strategies for relations and negotiations with Trade Unions, including defining agreements, supervising their enactment, and supporting plant-based and local union relations in line with broader strategies from the Associate Relations team.
