Site Superintendent - Growing on Site, Milan Join the Growing On Site Training , a development journey for Site Managers in Prysmian, managed by the Prysmian Academy with top external partners! This program complements the Site Superintendent role. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as the main contact with the customer and third parties for supervising pre-lay activities related to the power cable system . Coordinate between Customer, Civil works contractors, and Cable laying subcontractors for planning, civil works checks, and infrastructure verification. Supervise laying operations performed by subcontractors. Maintain detailed records of site activities, managing subcontractor execution according to plans and contracts. Oversee backfilling operations by third-party companies, ensuring timing, quality, and cable protection. Manage resources (personnel and assets), technical aspects, logistics, and HSE on site. Enforce safety rules to minimize accidents and injuries. Ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures throughout the process. Assist in preparing method statements and other documentation in collaboration with Installation Engineering. Qualifications & Experience: Preferably 2-3 years of experience in construction site activities or related interest. Knowledge of installation activities on land sites, ideally in the cable industry. Leadership skills and ability to guide a team towards targets. Strong communication skills and relationship management with clients and subcontractors. Analytical, problem-solving, and priority management skills. Quick learner with a strong commitment. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and internet tools. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Willingness to travel frequently domestically and internationally. Availability for long-term assignments abroad (approx. 60-70% per year).
