The ideal candidate is an experienced Operations Manager in a luxury hospitality environment who is fluent in English and Italian, is a self-starter with a hands-on attitude, and has great attention to detail. Core Responsibilities: Overseeing all departments and a team of 32 staff Constant quality control Problem management Overseeing purchasing and administration Setting and improving standards Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations Liaise constantly with the department managers Resolve arising issues and problems with a hands-on approach Keep guest focus in mind Be ready to take on duty shifts when required Guest relations: Actively seek contact with guests, ensure their well-being, and promote in-house activities Solve problems proactively, independently, and swiftly Owner Relations: Report efficiently to the owners, who live on site Represent values and vision to the team Represent owners towards suppliers, partners, guests, and media HR: Team planning and recruitment with owners Staff planning and management Ensure staff follow house rules Point of contact for department heads Operational excellence and quality: Monitor guest areas and ensure proper setup Oversee service delivery Analyze and improve processes Front Office: Coordinate with front office manager Respond promptly to requests, check bookings, and emails Assist with check-in/out and be approachable Purchasing: Manage stock and purchases Cost control and inventory management Budgeting and KPI analysis: Manage budget and monitor KPIs This is a full-time position with a workload of 6 days per week during the season (March-November) and 3-4 days during the closing period. We offer housing allowance and a permanent contract. Travel may be required for trade shows, sales trips, and media events. The role involves significant guest interaction and operational immersion.
