Senior Civil Engineer

Our client, a large consulting company with offices around the world, is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer: Roads and Infrastructure to join their growing team in Johannesburg! What you will need: · B Tech / BEng or BSc Civil Engineering · Professional Registration (PrEng/ PrTech Eng) · 5 - 8 years experience in design engineering · Extensive experience with the Civil3D Suite · Proven competence in Civil infrastructure Engineering Design including Roads and Geometric Design · Experience as Project Manager with resources and Municipal and othe r clients Your responsibilities will include: · Design of municipal roads and infrastructure using Civil3D · Project management and interfacing with other engineering disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects · Provide technical input from initial assessment through technical and economic feasibility to design development and construction implementation to project close out · Carry out investigations, surveys, design, engineering calculations and preparation of working drawings and estimates · Review overall project design and suggest technical and design improvements · Assist with the preparation of cost estimates on project designs · Keep up to date with industry advances, and be aware of policy and technical developments in this discipline · Review technical submissions, assessing technical risks and proposing mitigation strategies to reduce risk exposure in project If you would like to apply for this position, please send your updated CV through to engineering.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za Alternatively, contact us at XXX-XXXX for more information or visit our website on: www.stand-outstaffing.co.za
