Senior Quantity Surveyor – Groundworks & Civils Wrexham £65,000 - £70,000 Package Our client is a well-established and respected groundworks and civils contractor , known for delivering high-quality infrastructure, drainage, and groundwork solutions. With a strong pipeline of projects and a reputation for excellence, they pride themselves on their collaborative approach and long-standing client relationships. Role Responsibilities As a Senior Quantity Surveyor , you will take a lead role in managing the commercial aspects of multiple live projects. You will be responsible for ensuring financial control, value engineering, and successful delivery in line with contract terms and company targets. Key Responsibilities Oversee all commercial aspects of projects from tender stage through to final account Prepare accurate valuations, manage variations, and monitor project cash flow Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation, and account management Provide commercial guidance to project managers and junior QS staff Liaise with clients, attend project meetings, and prepare commercial reports Ensure compliance with contracts (NEC/JCT), company processes, and industry regulations What We’re Looking For Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) Minimum 5–7 years’ experience within groundworks and civils (residential & commercial) Strong working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT forms of contract Confident communicator with leadership and mentoring skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and commercial management tools Full UK driving licence What’s in It for You Competitive salary package tailored to your experience Company car or generous car allowance Annual bonus scheme and pension plan Private healthcare and wellbeing support Career progression opportunities in a growing business Collaborative and respected working environment
