Wrap Around Care Manager – September Start Salary: £32,512 – £34,654 (FTE) Location: Surrey Hours: Part-time, 2:30pm – 6:15pm, Monday to Friday (term time only) Contract: Permanent Are you someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and enjoys making a real difference in children’s lives? A popular and welcoming three-form entry Infant school in Surrey is looking for a caring and organised Wrap Around Care Manager to lead its after-school provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and has experience in managing both activities and staff. You’ll be at the heart of creating a safe, engaging, and fun space for pupils at the end of their school day. What you’ll be doing: Planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate activities that support children’s development and wellbeing. Leading a small team of staff, ensuring everyone is clear on their roles and responsibilities each day. Supervising children during sessions, encouraging positive behaviour and stepping in when needed to resolve any issues. Making sure all resources and equipment are ready and safe to use. Preparing and serving snacks in line with health and dietary guidelines. Ensuring the club space is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times. Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the club, keeping accurate records and ensuring safeguarding policies are followed. What we’re looking for: Experience in a similar role, ideally within a school or childcare setting. Confident leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team. A warm, approachable manner with strong communication skills. Good organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead. A sound understanding of health and safety, with first aid training (or willingness to obtain it). A calm and supportive approach to managing behaviour and helping children with their social and emotional needs. What we offer: A competitive salary on Surrey Pay Grade 7.
