Civil Engineering Project Manager – Outside IR35 – 52-Week Contract Location: Home Counties Start Date: June / July 2025 Duration: 52 Weeks IR35 Status: Outside IR35 I'm currently working with a major civil engineering contractor who is delivering a large-scale infrastructure project in the Home Counties , and we're now looking to bring on board a Project Manager with solid experience in water and utilities works . This is a 52-week contract , outside IR35 , and is due to kick off in June or July — ideal for someone who’s looking to secure their next long-term contract on a complex and rewarding scheme. What You’ll Be Doing This role involves managing a multi-package civils job with some technically demanding elements. You’ll be responsible for: Leading the delivery of: 5km of water mains Over 1km of ducting Drainage, manholes, and slab placement Precast concrete structures and prefabricated tanks Coordinating multiple contractors, subcontractors, and site managers Ensuring programme, cost, and quality targets are met Chairing progress meetings and reporting to senior stakeholders Working closely with the client team, suppliers, and design consultants What We’re Looking For To hit the ground running, you’ll need: Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering , ideally on large infrastructure or utilities-heavy projects Strong technical understanding of water & utilities installations Familiarity with precast and prefabricated systems Confident managing multiple workstreams and contractor packages on-site Knowledge of HSEQ and CDM regs SMSTS and CSCS essential Engineering degree or relevant qualification preferred Why Apply?
