Project Manager - SAP S/4HANA implementation

Robert Half is recruiting for a Project Manager with experience in implementing Sap 4 Hana for an aviation client on a 3-4 month contract. This role is outside IR35 ROLE: Project Manager LENGTH: go live in October (3-4 Months) LOCATION: On site 4 days in Surrey PAY: depending on experience About the Role Robert Half have partnered with a large international organisation and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a SAP S/4HANA implementation . This is a pivotal role within our Project Management Office (PMO) , requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills, a sharp focus on documentation, and a proven track record of successful SAP project delivery. The transition to SAP S/4HANA will be delivered by a specialist external implementation partner , who will serve as a key stakeholder throughout the project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing this relationship, ensuring effective collaboration, clear communication, and delivery against agreed milestones and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of the SAP S/4HANA implementation project Manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business cases, plans, and status reports Ensure the project remains on time, within scope, and on budget Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and report on progress to the Head of Projects Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, Operations, and third-party vendors Facilitate project governance, reporting, and decision-making at all levels Required Skills & Experience Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementation projects Background working in global or international organisations Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience managing third-party vendors Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality project documentation and develop business cases Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive project success Willingness and availability to work onsite in Surrey 4 days per week If this is of interest please send CV to taryn.seidle@roberthalf.co.uk
