Provides age-appropriate care and appropriately prepares patients for procedures Demonstrates initial competency in IV placement and securement, vascular access devices and extravasation handling Competent in CT Physics, dose reduction techniques and the Image Gently Campaign. Demonstrates and maintains competency and ability to use all aspects of Radiology Information System (RIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) as it pertains to modality specific functions and use Producing high-quality imaging while accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathologyManaging patient flow, including STAT/urgent and high-priority patientsProviding clear instructions and information to patients, families, and coworkersMaintaining competency across Radiology Information System (RIS), EMR, and PACSAdministering contrast safely and verifying clinical indications prior to administrationFollowing established quality assurance and safety programs (e.g., The Joint Commission, ACR)Preferred Qualifications: Siemens CT GE OEC OR C-arm Pediatrics EPIC No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
