Construction Electrician

Commercial Construction Journeyman Electrician Grand Rapids, MI Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, is seeking an experienced and motivated, full-time licensed Electrician! Skills, Knowledge, and Responsibilities: * Install electrical systems at new construction job sites and remodel projects. * Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code. * Ability to interpret building plans to determine the layout of electrical systems. * Ability to self-manage and troubleshoot independently on the job site. * Leads compliance with OSHA and other company safety standards. * Possess an in-depth knowledge of electrical principles, construction, and wiring schematics. * Ability to lead a team and work independently. Journeyman Electrician Requirements: * Relevant hands-on 3 years experience * Maintain and hold a valid Journeyman's Electrician License * Possess a valid driver's license and insurable driving record. * Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics. * Ability to use a wide variety of construction tools and techniques. * Possess personal hand tools.
