Job Info Job Location: Rocklin, CA Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Direct Hire Hours Per Shift: 9 Hours Hours Per Week: 45 Hours Shift Start Time: 07:00 am Working Days: Tue-Sat Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Additional Information Diesel Technician | Rocklin, CA Job Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $27 - $39 Per Hour Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,100 - $1,800 Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday - 07:00 am - 03:30 pm Sunday - Thursday - 07:00 am - 03:30 pm Overview: Join our team as a diesel tech 2 or 3, for Carvana in Rocklin, CA Key Responsibilities: Diagnose (using diagnostic equipment) and perform general preventative maintenance and DVIR for all heavy equipment Perform scheduled repairs and resolve issues uncovered during inspection Changing brakes, Adjusting steering systems, replacing parts, fixing complex electrical issues, changing hydraulic components, changing tires according to TIA guidelines Use welders, torches and plasma cutters to weld or fabricate broken parts Maintain accurate and proper records for all repairs performed on our fleet using our software Use diagnostic equipment to pull fault codes and follow OEM diagnose trees to accurately diagnose equipment Requirements: 1 year experience with class 8 Must have a Valid Driver's License Must have your own tools to complete daily tasks, specialty tools will be provided by Carvana Types of tools required: Sockets, wrenches, screw drivers OUTDOOR Shop Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping/pushing and/or pulling in an environment that be cold, hot, noisy & wet & may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively and in a professional courteous manner Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and oral Benefits: Health insurance (100% of employee premiums, 75% family premiums) Dental & vision insurance PTO (104 hours in the first year, 160 hours after) 401(k) with company match Tool allowance of $500/year, boot allowance of $100 every 6 months Uniform & laptop provided ASE certifications reimbursed To Apply: Apply Now or call Dominique at 205-775-7537
