A Day in the Life Would you like to become a Therapy Training Specialist (TTS) in Medtronic’s Diabetes Operating Unit? Imagine a role where your expertise becomes a beacon of support for both patients and healthcare professionals. As a technical point of reference, you will follow Medtronic’s code of conduct, building professional relationships within your territory. In the dynamic world of Medtronic, the TTS plays a key role in ensuring the optimal use of products and services for diabetes care. In addition to sharing technical knowledge, your responsibilities will include managing the entire patient training process and providing post-sales support, while contributing to strategic territorial plans in collaboration with internal teams and fellow TTS colleagues. This role reports directly to the District Manager Lazio and is part of the Lazio Sales Team, with a focus on HCPs in Diabetology, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, and Pediatric Diabetology. This is a short-term contract with a remote working model. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Deliver technical training for new patients, monitoring proper use of devices and exploring advanced features Participate in follow-up meetings to respond to questions from patients and diabetologists. Promote ongoing technical education and raise awareness among diabetology teams about optimal diabetes management using Medtronic devices Plan technical training sessions for onboarding new patients Collaborate in the commercial cycle and prescription process, ensuring proper inventory management Provide administrative support to the manager and fellow Therapy Training Specialists (TTS) and Therapy Sales Specialists (TSS) in monitoring territory-related costs Engage medical and nursing staff in educational activities by organizing local training events and providing technical support during scientific conferences Required Knowledge and Experience: Degree in scientific disciplines Proficiency in using digital tools Valid driver’s license (B) and willingness to travel frequently across Lazio and occasionally across the national territory Knowledge of the medical device and therapy market Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, a consultative approach, goal orientation, teamwork, proactiveness, assertive communication, and familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems A strong scientific background, two years of experience in pharma or medical devices, or prior sales experience in diabetology, along with a good knowledge of English, are considered a plus.
