Naval Architect Lead (Specialist in Hydrostatic) BUSINESS LINE: ENCAR Saipem is a global leader in engineering and construction for energy and infrastructure projects, both offshore and onshore. Position: Naval Architect Lead As part of our Naval Department within the ENCAR business line, you will be responsible for: Leading hull hydrostatic activities on projects; Reviewing naval deliverables such as procedures, notes, and technical reports; Interfacing with other naval disciplines, including the construction team; Communicating with clients, fabrication companies, and yards; Developing feedback dossiers from projects; Enhancing knowledge of naval engineering, specifically vessel hydrostatic and hydrodynamic aspects; Applying and improving technical skills, procedures, and tools for proposals and project execution; Implementing and controlling preventive and corrective actions from audits or certifications; Improving quality and efficiency in naval engineering activities; Managing hull timeline and quantities management activities; Utilizing numerical techniques and software such as FEM and panel model-based methods; Interfacing with classification society rules (ABS, BV, DNV); Being available for international mobility, including missions or long-term assignments. Qualifications: Naval Architect Lead experience; Fluent in English; Permanent contract; At least 7 years of experience; Proficiency in Office Suite; Experience in Oil & Gas projects (preferred).
