Due to recent growth, they are looking for an experienced Distribution Sales Representative in South East France(remote-based) to act as a strategic contributor to the commercial direction of both the CV (Agriculture, Heavy-Duty, Construction) and PV (Passenger Vehicle) sectors. Job Summary: The role involves developing and increasing market share in the Automotive sector in the Rhône-Alpes region by managing both existing and new accounts. Working with an experienced team, you will be responsible for business development in the passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle sectors. General Responsibilities: In collaboration with one of the French Sector Managers, the role will encompass three main areas: Key Account Management: Work with our largest clients to increase our account share, identify new opportunities within their existing operations, and ensure that the Mobil brand is fairly represented at all levels of the market. Accounts will vary in size and operate across all segments of the automotive aftermarket – from workshop networks to distribution, vehicle service units to service stations, and everything in between. Knowledge of one or more of these sectors is essential. Business Development: Manage and develop a pipeline of new business acquisition opportunities. Opportunities may arise across any area of the automotive market, so a strong and broad experience across multiple sectors is highly valuable. Lead and coordinate projects and respective teams throughout the entire tendering process. Strategic Development: Identify new markets/routes to market in collaboration with the Sector Manager and the Sales Director. Strategic contribution to the commercial direction of both the CV (Agriculture, Heavy-Duty, Construction) and PV (Passenger Vehicle) sectors. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience Fluent French and Basic English Available to travel 2-3 days in the Lyon area and driving Driver’s License Required In-depth knowledge of the Automotive market and aftermarket networks Strong background in key account and commercial management – essential Demonstrated experience in new business development Alignment with the company’s values and mindset Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills Effective, positive, and proactive communicator Experience in project and tender management Disciplined approach to time management, organization, and planning Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines Self-motivated with a proactive attitude Team player with strong interpersonal skills Results-oriented with a drive to exceed targets Confident in delivering presentations and training at all levels within professional organizations University degree preferred If interested in exploring further, please respond with your CV and contact details TODAY.
