Technical Project Manager – Data Centre Projects (Cabling & Migrations) Location: London (On-site / Hybrid as required) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity: A growing infrastructure services provider is looking for a Technical Project Manager with hands-on experience in delivering complex data centre projects. What You’ll Be Doing: Own and deliver full life cycle projects across data centre cabling infrastructure and server/network migrations Build detailed project plans, schedules, and resource requirements Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders across technical workstreams Oversee implementation of structured cabling (copper & fibre), ensuring it meets spec and industry best practices Lead the execution of hardware migrations with minimal business impact Monitor risks, milestones, and deliverables — keeping stakeholders informed throughout Ensure accurate completion of project documentation, including test results and as-built drawings Champion H&S and security compliance across all phases of work What You’ll Bring: Proven track record in delivering technical projects in live data centre environments Strong working knowledge of structured cabling systems, cable containment, patching standards, and rack layouts Experience managing server, storage, and network equipment migrations Confident handling multiple concurrent projects and deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — both technical and non-technical audiences Familiarity with standards such as TIA/EIA , BICSI , and Uptime Institute Tier Guidelines Proficiency in tools like MS Project , Jira , or similar Why Join?
