Job description Join Our Team as a Healthcare Assistant - Supporting our young service user in School! We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about providing personalised care and support. Our client lives with his loving family in Nottingham and is reaching an exciting milestone, as he will be starting his school journey in September! To ensure he can fully engage in his education, we are building a dedicated team of skilled Healthcare Assistants to provide clinical support throughout his school day, along with essential overnight care to ensure his safety and create a peaceful environment. He is a bright and curious boy who loves music, books, football, and playing with his toys. He requires a friendly and energetic care team that supports his development through play and helps him feel happy and safe at school, ensuring his well-being and progress. He is unable to communicate verbally and expresses his needs using picture cards; he is also learning Makaton. It is important that you can understand and interpret his non-verbal cues, to ensure his needs are met effectively. Your responsibilities will include: Providing essential care at school, including tracheostomy care, ventilation support, and enteral feeding. Assisting with personal care Carrying out regular observations Helping create a calm and engaging learning environment Encouraging communication and interaction Pay Rates: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour (from £97.50 per 7.5 hour day shift) Shifts Available: Part Time Days & Nights X2 Weekdays per week - 8.30am - 4pm (School Support - Term Time Only) X2 Nights per week - 10pm - 8am Essential Requirements: 3 months previous care experience Medication administration Personal care Moving and handling Please note, drivers are preferred.
