MedCadre is seeking a travel Dosimetrist Level II for a travel job in Elmhurst, New York. Position Summary We are seeking a Medical Dosimetrist to join a radiation oncology team and support the planning and delivery of patient-specific treatment plans for both external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) and brachytherapy . This position requires strong technical expertise in radiation physics, dose calculation, and collaborative treatment design with the clinical team. Key Responsibilities Design, generate, and verify radiation treatment plans in collaboration with oncologists and physicists Perform accurate dose calculations and documentation in patient records Support quality assurance procedures and equipment calibration Guide radiation therapists on treatment setup, field arrangements, and beam modifiers Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to support patient care planning Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations Maintain clinical competency through continuing education Supervise daily dosimetry operations and respond to treatment-related inquiries Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical dosimetry Proficiency with Pinnacle , MOSAIQ , and related treatment planning systems Strong foundation in math, physics, anatomy, and radiobiology Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams About MedCadre At MedCadre, headquartered in Irvine, California and serving healthcare organizations nationwide, we connect exceptional clinicians with world-class career opportunities while upholding the highest standards of ethics, fairness, and integrity.
