Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 06/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) – 13-Week Contract | Rio Rancho, NM Assignment Details Location: Rio Rancho, NM Guaranteed Hours: 40 Shift Type: 8-Hour Days Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Schedule Notes: Weekend and holidays may be required Duration: 13 Weeks Job Summary Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing, and dysphagia disorders. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served. ✅ Required Certifications & Licensure New Mexico Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) certification BLS required BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross ️ Required Skills & Experience Two (2) years’ experience required in a large hospital Requires detailed knowledge of speech and language pathology in terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done; this level includes interpretation of data Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment previously Basic understanding of the rules and regulations of the specific setting Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment Essential Duties Oversees and ensures a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and immediate environmental well-being of the patient Promotes patient/caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence Coordinates and communicates with various disciplines or services involved in patient care Coordinates efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during episode of care Note: “We are an equal opportunity employer.
